Frequently Asked Questions
Is a PoE switch included?
Only with the “With 16 Channel PoE Switch” option (model N884A36B-W). The recorder alone (model N884A36B) has 16 ports, and a PoE switch can be added for the other 16 channels. Lorex lists the PoE switch as sold separately for the recorder-only version.
How many cameras does it support?
Up to 32 cameras. Use compatible Lorex cameras, and contact us with your camera model numbers if you are unsure about compatibility.
Are there any monthly fees?
No. Footage records locally on the recorder, so no monthly fee or subscription is needed to record.
Are cameras included?
No. This listing is for the recorder only. Cameras are sold separately.
Is a monitor included?
No. Connect your own TV or monitor to the recorder.
How does the Extended Warranty work?
